SCOTT BROTHERS LAUNCHES THE BREEZAIR MOBILE EVAPORATIVE COOLER - AN INDUSTRIAL
COOLING SOLUTION FOR LARGER AREAS

portable heating and cooling solutions, announces the launch of the Breezair Mobile
Evaporative Cooler EA120SVM, capable of reducing the ambient temperature in larger
spaces by several degrees in order to generate a more pleasant and healthier working
environment. Scott Brothers Ltd has been appointed the sole distributor of the
Seeley range of portable Evaporative Coolers for the UK and Ireland, now including
the hire and industrial markets, in addition to the domestic and retail markets,
(which Scott has covered for over 5 years.)

The Breezair is a powerful, portable unit, suitable for cooling a large number of
facilities including factories, warehouses, mezzanine floors, sports centres,
fitness centres, shops, showrooms, conference rooms and temporary tents and
marquees. The Breezair unit is very convenient for use at events and has many
outdoors applications, thus is particularly suited to the hire and professional
trade markets.

The range of Convair products for the hire and industrial markets includes the
successful Commander and Mastercool products, which are suitable for rooms and
offices from 20m2 to 30m2. The new Breezair Mobile cooler now increases the capacity
range of Convair models enabling larger areas up to
120m2 to be cooled effectively using portable equipment.

Motionless, stale air and high temperatures commonly found in a variety of
workplaces can have an adverse effect on employee morale, production and
productivity. The Breezair produces a cool, refreshing breeze while doors and
windows can be left open with absolutely no loss in cooling efficiency.
The unit is equipped with large cooling pads, which are kept constantly wet during
the operating cycle. Hot air is drawn into the cooler via a quiet, powerful
centrifugal fan. The air passes through the water-soaked pads and the water adsorbs
the heat by a natural evaporation process. While traditional ventilation systems,
which rely on introducing ambient air, become limited during the warmer summer
months, evaporative cooling provides direct cooling of the incoming air. Many
Breezair models have up to 94% saturation efficiency and lead the world in
delivering bigger temperature reductions and very high \"cooling\" effects.

To facilitate quick implementation, the unit is mounted on wheels for easy
portability. The large 100 litre water tank enables uninterrupted operation of up to
8 hours in normal conditions and a variable speed controller regulates the speed of
the fan and incorporates a switch to turn off the water pump. Power and water
consumption are kept to very low levels, therefore minimising operating costs in
comparison to traditional refrigerated systems, which consume approximately five
times more electrical energy. The unit delivers up to 8,210 m3/h of cooled air.

The Breezair Mobile Evaporative Cooler EA120SVM is lightweight, being constructed
entirely of tough, polymer plastic with the exception of the fan, motor mount and
the electrics which are made of stainless steel. The side louvre panels are moulded
from a high strength, non fading and UV resistant structural polymer and the filter
pads are made from shredded Aspen wood fibre providing maximum efficiency.
